Talon proudly owns and manages South Side Studios in Dallas, TX, an 11-acre production facility featuring 70,000 square feet of sound stages and 50,000 square feet of support space. This newly renovated studio is less than two miles from Dallas’ city center and equipped to accommodate productions of all sizes. Additionally, Talon has a stake in Coastal Creative in St. Petersburg, FL, a 25,000-square-foot black box theater and production space that hosts events, screenings, and industry programming.
Our Leadership
Steven Demmler, President and CEO, brings a wealth of experience as an executive producer, with credits including Oh, Canada, a Cannes 2024 competition entry, and Bookworm, an Elijah Wood-starring feature acquired by Vertical Entertainment. Recognized by Variety as one of Hollywood’s New Leaders of 2024, Steven is passionate about fostering partnerships that empower creators.
Joining him is Tony Armer, Head of Physical Production, known for his transformative work as Film Commissioner for Dallas and St. Petersburg and as a co-founder of the Sunscreen Film Festival. With over two decades of experience, Tony’s leadership has been instrumental in attracting high-profile productions and fostering industry growth.
Our Partnerships
Talon Entertainment Finance is proud to partner with SpectreVision, the genre-focused production company co-founded by Elijah Wood, Daniel Noah, and Lawrence Gordan. Known for boundary-pushing films like Mandy and A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, SpectreVision is a pioneer in innovative storytelling across film, television, and gaming.
Steven Demmler, now a strategic advisor and board member for SpectreVision, has deepened this collaboration through initiatives like Mutant, a premium collectibles venture that celebrates pop culture fandoms. Through this partnership, Talon aligns with SpectreVision’s vision of producing bold, original content, including projects like Rabbit Trap, starring Dev Patel, and a reboot of the cult classic Max Headroom for AMC Networks.
Our Vision
At Talon Entertainment Finance, we believe in the transformative power of storytelling. By blending strategic insight, financial expertise, and creative passion, we aim to be a cornerstone of the entertainment world—building opportunities, fostering innovation, and helping creators realize their dreams.
